Sinatra Song x Susanna/Salvano

2010 Bay Hanoverian Mare

Savannah was born May 1, 2010. She was the first foal born on our farm here, in White Plains, MD. She is bay and stands at 15.3 hands. She is registered  Hanoverian.

Savannah will be presented for AHS mare approvals and will go through her Mare Performance Test in Spring 2016. She is able to go Elite and be entered in Jumper Breeding Program as long as her scores are high enough.

Fox Lair purchased Savannah's dam early 2010, in foal to Sinatra Song. When Savannah was born we knew how special she was and she went on to prove so over the many years of in hand shows. Each judge always loved her conformation and elastic movement. Two years in a row she qualified for the Future Event Horse Championships in Lexington, KY. Both years she won her age division and was second overall. We love this mare and cannot wait to add her to the breeding program.

Savannah has been sold.

Sentimental Baby

Sinatra Song:

In just a few years, Sinatra Song has enjoyed many successes. In 2005, he was named premium Stallion and Champion of his Hengste Keurings. Sinatra was one of two three-year-olds selected to represent the Hanoverian Verband at the Bundeschampionate. He finished in the reserve position and was the highest-scoring Hanoverian. He went directly to his 70-Day test where he scored 121.14 points in dressage. Highlights from his testing were: character 9, temperment 9. walk 9, canter 9, gallop cross country 9, jumping and rideability, 8.25. Sinatra
has had numerous site Champions as well as several foals named stallion prospects and a couple that have been Grand Champion at breed shows. Some of his offspring’s success include: “Sunny Dey” 2nd place Two-Year-Old Fillies class
at Dressage at Devon 2013. “Syncopation” won the Four-Year-Old FEI class at Dressage at Devon 2012. “Sabella” was top filly at her Hanoverian Inspection. “UNO Sandie Girl” qualified for the Norwegian four-year-old championships.
“Sequel HF” was awarded USDF DSHB 2011 Horse Of The Year Reserve Champion Two-Year-Old Colts/Geldings and AHS DHSB 2011 Reserve Champion Two- and Three-Year-Old Colts/Geldings division. “Scampolina” won the Bundeschampionate qualifier of the six-year-old horses with an impressive 8.4 in 2013.

Sender:

His progeny have won over 646,100 DM. Sender is a grandson of the Trakehner stallion Semper Idem, who is considered the founder of a now rare but powerful show jumping line in Germany. Sender produced 26 approved stallions, 223 Main Studbook mares and 39 State Premium mares. He was the top sire of showjumpers in Europe, but his breeding talents were not in showjumping alone. In 1998, Dressage Today published the list of the top 11 dressage horses and 3 were descendents of Sender.

Absatz:

Absatz was the champion stallion of the 1962 Verden licensing. The Trakehner stallion, Abglanz’s influence in Hannover, was most felt through his son Absatz who was out of the Hannoverian mare, Landmoor who on her sire’s side traces to the famous English Thoroughbred, Perfectionist xx, and on her dam’s side from the Shagya stallion Shagy XVII. Absatz was the sire of stallions such as Argentan, Arsenik, Akzent I and II, Admiral I and II, Aktuell and Aderlaß. All told Absatz sired 40 Approved sons, 605 competition horses and 142 Verden auction horses. Thanks to the magic of frozen semen, he continued to sire foals long after his death, and it is rumoured that a vintage cache of Absatz semen is still ‘cellared’ at Celle. Absatz’s modern influence is perhaps most strongly felt through Weltmeyer who is out of Anka by Absatz. Absatz produced 84 States Premium mares and has 823 total registered offspring in Hanover, 446 of which are approved mares in the studbook. Equally impressive are his 348 registered competition offspring whose earnings are 943,787.00 DM.
