Contendro I:

Contendro is the top-ranked sire for eventing in the WBFSH Sire Rankings for the second time in 2016, having been third in 2014. He is also ranked 21st for show jumping, having been ranked 8th in 2014 – the only stallion to appear on both rankings that year. He is a versatile sire with an excellent temperament, who passes on his good brain and rideability. Contendro won a premium at the 1999 Holstein licensing, and was champion of his performance test in 2000. He was placed in the 4yr old National Championships, and qualified for the 5yr old Bundeschampionat, but since then his breeding career has meant that he performs rarely. His full brother Contendro II has jumped up to grand prix and is also a licensed stallion. Contendro has produced offspring competing at the highest level in all three disciplines; he has 47 grand prix showjumping offspring, and CCI4* eventer NZB Campino and grand prix dressage horses Chagall, Chopin, Catch You and Amichelli are all Contendro sons. Codex One and NZB Campino both competed at the Olympics in showjumping and eventing respectively.  In 2012, his daughter, Corona won the 5-year-old Bundeschampionat, while Hello Annie has won almost €120,000 on the GCT tour.

Contender:

Contender won the 1987 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test with a jumping index of 146.62. He went on to be the 1-b main premium vice-champion in Oldenburg on the basis of his excellent first crop of foals. He is now one of the most sought after stallions in Germany today. He has produced 80 approved sons, and 59 state premium mares including Riconda, who won the Elite Mare Show at Rastede, in 1993. As of 2006, in Holstein, Oldenburg, Hannover and Rhineland, Contender has produced 782 registered mares, 498 successful offspring in the sport. Contender spent his first three years at stud in Oldenburg before moving to Holstein. Contender has dominated German breeding values for many years now and continues to produce exciting young stallions like Contendro (premium stallion in the approval of 1999, and winner of the performance test at Adelheidsdorf the following year). Contender’s influence spreads throughout Germany, with his two sons, Cordobes I & II acquired by the Westfalien stud stud at Warendorf. Cordobes I was the winner of his performance test in 1998 – scoring almost exactly the same jumping score as his celebrated sire, 146.29! Contender was ranked third in the list of the world's best showjumping sires in 2004.

Boritas:

Boritas was a 1998 Holsteiner stallion by Baldini I and out of a dam by Alcatraz. Boritas has proven himself at the “S” level, competing internationally with Lars Bak Anderson. Boritas continued his show jumping career in the United States where he took his amateur owner into the Grand Prix arena for the first time with much success. Now retired to stud, Boritas produces strong, attractive offspring that inherit his willingness to perform and impeccable character.
