Queenofthedamned

Quidam Blue x Crescenda / Contratto

2022 Bay Westfalen Filly

 

Queenofthedamned aka Gidget was born March 20, 2022. She is a Westfalen Filly by Quidam Blue, who stands at Equitop Farm in Canada. 

 

Quidam Blue is an international Grand Prix jumper (licensed and approved by the German Hanoverian Verband): he is a gem to have in the stable — a beautiful athlete that loves his work and his people.

Quidam Blue started his show career winning the Five-Year-Old Western Canadian Young Horse Championship. As a young head-turner he collected ribbons at venues like Spruce Meadows under his amateur rider Beke Brinkmann and played his way into the 1.30 m division.  In 2014 he quickly entered the 1.50m level with Olympic Silver medalist Jill Henselwood. Together their highlights include Top 3 finishes as part of the Canadian Team at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Bratislava, in the Wild Card Smart Pack Grand Prix at Saugerties New York, winning the SynOil Energy Services CSI** Cup at the Royal West in Calgary; he added numerous placings in the 1.60 m level in the following years.

 

Gidget is one of the friendliest foals we have ever produced. She is super curious and fearless. She has been SOLD!

Conjuring

Carrasca Z x FF Valour / Calgary GNZ

2022 Gray Westfalen Colt

 

Conjuring aka Casper was born March 27, 2022. He is a Westfalen Colt by Carrasca Z, who stands at AliBoo Farm in the US.

 

2016 Winner of YJC East Coast 6-year-old Finals as well as Best Overall Young Jumper Style Award and qualified for World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. Top finisher in several $15,000 1.30m Classics. Winner of multiple 6-year-old classes at WEF 2016, the Silver Oak Jumper Tournament, and finished the year ranked 3rd nationally in the USEF Standings for 6-year-old Horse of the Year. As a 4 year old, he was the Overall Grand Champion of the International Jumper Futurity and was the first and only horse to ever earn a Perfect 10 Score at the 2014 YHS Free Jumping Finals; he also won the High-Point In Hand/At Liberty Class. He also competed at the World Championships for Young Horses in Belgium where he was 1 of 35 out of 200 to turn in 2 clear rounds in the qualifiers.

 

Casper is an exceptionally handsome colt with a playful personality. We feel he will be a perfect addition for the future of our performance team.

Unforgettable

Utopie x Filomena WF / Federalist

2022 Chestnut Westfalen Filly

 

Unforgettable aka Mim was born March 31, 2022. She is a Westfalen Filly by Utopie, who stands at Eurequine in California.

 

Utopie, (USA Show Name Combina) is a 16.1hh bay KWPN stallion by Jacomar out of Pherna Keur Sport by Calvados. ​Utopie is an international show jumper, with successes at 1.6 meter level, shown under Marc Houtzager (NL), Candice King (USA), Nicole Bellissimo (USA) and Kirsten Coe (USA). Utopie’s parent’s lineage show the ultimate in performance genes through offspring and heritage. Utopie left Holland at the early age of 9 focused on a show career, rather than breeding, despite that Utopie is 6th on the list for leading sires of offspring jumping 1.30m and up, following closely behind Heartbreaker, Mr. Blue and Cantos. Utopie performed excellently during the Stallion Competition 2006/2007 with Marc Houtzager winning the final in Den Bosch. Utopie was the first KWPN stallion of his licensing year to debut in the 1.60 meters classes and making an impressive entrance with 2 clean rounds.

 

Mim is a nice jumper type filly with elastic movement. She is being retained for our performance team and as an eventual broodmare.

Insidious

Imothep x Crescenda / Contratto

2022 Bay Westfalen Colt

 

Insidious aka Sid was born May 19, 2022. He is a Westfalen Colt by Imothep, who stands at Hyperion Stud, LLC. 

 

In 2007 Imothep completed his 30-day trial in Zweibruecken, Germany with the overall score of 8.1, and was victorious in his sporting debut in jumping tests Class A and L. In 2008 he was the winner in the young horse M classes with scores up to 8 and 9. These results qualified him for the FEI World Breeding Championships for young horses in Lanaken, Belgium in 2009. Imothep has acquired numerous results at the National and International Grand Prix level throughout his career. In 2014 his greatest accomplishments included 3 Nation’s Cup events for Team Ireland. That same year, under Irishman Darragh Kenny, the pair finished 12th of 153 horse/rider combinations at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France.

Taizo Sugitani of Japan joined forces with Hyperion Stud to take over the reins on Imothep for 2015. In 2016 the pair competed in the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio for Team Japan.

 

Sid is one of a kind! He is incredibly curious and playful. He has been SOLD! We are sure he will have an amazing future career!

Janga

Jaguar van Paemel x Crazy For Calypso / Coconut Grove

2021 Gray Hanoverian Filly

 

Janga aka Cora was born March 16, 2021. She is a Hanoverian Filly by Jaguar van Paemel, who stands in California. 

 

Jaguar van Paemel, is a 2009 Belgian Warmblood stallion, bred by top Brussels breeders, Luc Van Eeckhoudt and Karin Verdeyen of Stoeterij Van Paemel. They kept him for his first decade, during which time he was approved first at BWP, and then by Zangersheide (in 2012) where the jury considered him “one of the best stallions.” Jaguar went on to prove himself physically capable of sustaining a rigorous international showjumping career, while siring many foals for the Europeans who watched him go. Most of Jaguar van Paemel's competition career in Europe was under Dirk Demeersman, who competed him in over 100 FEI classes up to 1m50 (Grand Prix). Jaguar then went to Aldrick Cheronnet of France, who competed him up to 1.60 (Six-Bar Competition) before he was sold and exported to America.

 

Cora is a sweet filly who has a good head on her shoulders. Cora has been SOLD!
