Volantis
Vindication x Elegant / Escudo I
2020 Bay Hanoverian Colt
Volantis aka Ben was born June 30, 2020. He is a Hanoverian Colt by the Elite stallion Valentino, who is owned by Dreamscape Farm in Canada.
Valentino is a very striking modern type stallion with a lot of presence and who is also very well known for his intelligent kind nature. A powerful jumping stallion who earned a spectacular 9.6 for jumping ability and 9’s for temperament and willingness at the 2005 Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf, Valentino easily won the jumper division of the test, and was the Reserve Champion overall out of 48 stallions. In the Show Jumping portion Valentino scored 141.47, for the dressage phase he scored a 121.09 and overall Valentino scored an impressive 136.89. Valentino went on to very successfully compete up to advanced S level show jumping under Karen Biermann. In 2012 the pair placed 4th in the Kl.S* in Kemnitz.
Ben is a handsome, modern colt. He is everything we expected from this cross and we can't wait to follow his future. Ben has been SOLD!

Checkmate x Elegant / Escudo I
2020 Bay Hanoverian Colt
Caspian aka Tater was born June 24, 2020. He is a Hanoverian Colt by Checkmate, who stands at Dreamscape Farm in Canada.
Checkmate completed his 70 day test at Silver Creek Farm in OK, USA. He had a very good test, finishing 3rd overall in the jumping with a score of 121.18. Checkmate`s sire is the Oldenburg stallion Check In. In 2005, Check In became the OS Reserve Champion Stallion. He finished his 30 day test in Redefin with a final score of 9.08 with emphasis on jumping. He was awarded the I-b premium in 2007, won a Bundeschampionat qualifier with a score of 9.2 in 2008 and has meanwhile collected ribbons in the international Youngster Tour. Check In's sire Cordalmé Z, was a top performance horse and sire, winning Nations Prizes with Gilbert Böckmann. Check In's dam Ilonka (sire Lord Pezi) competed in the 2005 Bundeschampionat Final and was ridden to many victories in show jumping up to advanced level.

Cair Paravel aka Sprout was born May 17, 2020. She is a Hanoverian Filly by Checkmate, who stands at Dreamscape Farm in Canada.
Checkmate completed his 70 day test at Silver Creek Farm in OK, USA. He had a very good test, finishing 3rd overall in the jumping with a score of 121.18. Lord Adonis x Wildflower WF / Wellesley
2020 Bay Hanoverian Colt
Lord Targaryen aka Waffles was born April 29, 2020. He is a Hanoverian Colt by Lord Adonis, standing at Eurequine in California.
Lord Adonis 2008, 16.2hh was raised and owned in Germany by renowned international Grand Prix jumper Rene Tebbel. In 2010 Lord Adonis was presented and approved at the Oldenburg Hengst-Tage. In June of 2012 he was imported to the U.S.A. A couple of months after leaving quarantine he was taken to the 2012 North American Stallion Performance Testing where he received an impressive 7th in Dressage (110.78), 7th in Jumping (111.83) and 8th Overall (111.58). Lord Adonis was the only stallion who earned an elite status when inspected for approval by the Hanoverian Society. The scores he received during the testing are: Character: 9; Temperament : 8.5; Constitution: 9; Stadium Jumping: 9; Free Jumping: 9; Cross Country: 8.5; Walk: 8.5; Canter: 8.25; Trot: 7.5.
Waffles is a modern, typey colt. He is very easy going and would be a dream for an amateur. Waffles has been SOLD!

2020 Bay Hanoverian Filly
Countes du Rouet aka Brie was born April 22, 2020. She is a Hanoverian Filly by Chicardo, who stands at Rising Star Farm in Georgia.
Chicardo was Champion of the 2007 Holsteiner licensing earning 52 bonits and was Reserve Champion of the German FN authorized 70-day Sporthorse Stallion Performance Test (2011) where he received a rare perfect 10 for character and 9.5 for jumping with no gait lower than 8 (128.58 total score). He was Reserve Champion of the 2007 Young Jumper Championship Mid-West Finals and competed up to Grand Prix in showjumping in 2012 and 2013 with Daniel Zilla before retiring to focus on breeding full time. In statistics compiled by the AHHA evaluating Holsteiner stallion production quality, Chicardo leads the list with an astonishing 83% Premium foals (of 24 inspected), with average foal bonits of 8/8, leading both movement and conformation of all 58 qualifying Holsteiner stallions licensed in North America in 2010.
Brie is a pretty filly with stunning movement. She was the top filly at her inspection. Brie is being retained for our performance team and eventually will join our broodmare herd.

Valaena aka Minnie was born March 20, 2019. She is a Hanoverian Filly by Vindication, who is owned by Silver Creek International and stands at Avalon Equine.
Vindication was the #1 jumper bred foal for GOV in North America for 2012. Vindication himself possesses an amazing character, type, movement, and natural talent for upper level competition. At three years old, he completed the 2015 North American 70-Day Stallion Test and received 10s from both jumping and both dressage judge riders and 9.5 for Temperament, Willingness to Work, and Constitution, which made him the clear 2015 North American Stallion Test Champion in Jumping, Gaits/Rideability, and the Overall Champion. He began his competition career in the fall of 2016 with multiple clear rounds in the 1.10m jumpers as a 4 year old. He continues to show the excellent character and upper level potential in competition that he displayed during his stallion testing.
Minnie is a gorgeous filly with a fun, calm personality. She is everything we could have hoped for from this cross and we believe she will be perfect for our competition program and eventually will become a broodmare for our program.
