Fiona was presented to AHS and was accepted into their Main Mare Book.

Fox Lair purchased Fiona in the Fall of 2016 from Windswept Farm in Ontario, Canada. She has produced several offspring for Windswept and she was said to be one of the farm favorites. Fiona was purchased specifically for our breeding program.  Her bloodlines are what drew us to her and we are very excited to add another Federalist daughter into our broodmare band. She has had a couple amazing foals for us so far.

Fiona has been sold.

For Pleasure:

For Pleasure is a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner, World Champion & Hanoverian Stallion of the year in 2000. He was a member of the gold medal-winning German show jumping team at the1996 Atlanta Olympics, and named German horse of the year in 1995. For Pleasure was ridden for the German team so successfully by Lars Nieberg and more recently by Marcus Ehning. He is one of the most sought after sires in Germany. His two Olympic team gold medals (Altanta and Sydney) make him one of the most successful currently competing breeding stallions. His sire, Furioso II, is considered one of the most influential sport horse sires in the world.  Furioso II, in 1989, was the top sire in Germany based on money earned by his get.   His bloodlines can be found  in almost all recognized international studbooks in Europe. For Pleasure's damsire, Grannus' offspring are successful showjumpers around the globe. The black Anglo Arab Matcho was the winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1992 and has since founded his own stallion line in the Hanoverian breed.

Eiger I:

Eiger I was awarded the title Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1999 in Verden. Eiger was born in 1975 at Hans-Wilhelm Oltmann`s at Drochtersen. His father Eisenherz was a sought after sire of dressage horses at that time. The sire of Eiger`s dam, Abermals adds the famous Tempelhüter blood to his pedigree. The chestnut stallion grew up at the stallion rearing farm Hunndesrück and passed his performance test at Adelheidsdorf in 1978. With above average results in both dressage and jumping he proved his versatility and reached fourth place with a total result of 113.66 points. He passes on his type, his correct conformation and his very good rideability to his offspring. Very often they are talented for both jumping and dressage, just like their father is. Eiger produced 35 State`s premium mares and seven licensed stallions, among them Espri, who became Hanoverian Stallion of the Year four years ago. Eiger I passed away 24 days after his homage.
